Neo Spirit Pro - Redemption Results and photos.

They said there would be blood.

And there was.

Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling returned to Fight Club Canada in Niagara Falls, Ontario this past Saturday night.

In the opening contest, the 400+ fans saw The Piss Beaters (Jake O'Reilly and Anthony Darko) take on the team of Crazzy Steve and Shawn Spears.
O'Reilly and Spears recently returned from Japan where they competed in All Japan Pro Wrestling, both as a team and against one-another.
Needless to say, both knew what the other was capable of.
Crazzy Steve (who chose "bear" in rock, paper, scissors to decide who started the match for his team,) had an early flurry of offense against Anthony Darko, hitting a variety of moves before Darko was able to tag in O'Reilly. The Piss Beaters then used a handful of illegal maneuvers while the referee was distracted.
Shawn Spears finally made his way into the match and stiffly kicked O'Reilly in the chest over and over.
This was a hard fought battle inside the ring before the action took to the outside, where Shawn Spears leaped from the top rope and dove onto The Piss Beaters.
Fans thought Steve and Spears had this won, but O'Reilly was able to take Steve out on the outside, and double-teamed Spears with a piledriver to seal their win.

You can see the match in its entirety here:

Andrew Davis with Jay Moore vs Ashley Sixx.
A battle of two NSP Originals, both coming off wins from the first NSP show.
Davis' manager Jay Moore was instrumental in this bout, repeatedly distracting the referee while Davis maintained the pain. Davis seemed to have victory in his future, until Michael Elgin, still angry over his loss last show (Davis cheated, hitting him with a chair to win), ran down to the ring and powerbombed Davis while the referee was arguing with Jay Moore. Sixx got the pin shortly after.

Cody Deaner, Derek Wylde and Cherry Bomb interrupt the show.
Ring announcer Topher Whiteman had planned to do an interview with "The Lord of the Bling" Tiberious King, but was interrupted by Deaner, Wylde and Cherry, who would face King, Pepper Parks and Courtney Rush later that night.
Deaner went on to verbally abuse Whiteman, kicking him out of the ring. They then stole his chair and made him sit on the floor, while they praised themselves and "how great they were."
King decided he had enough and came down to the ring.
He reminded Wylde about his shady past, how he only used people to get what he wanted and then disowned them. King then explained how Pepper Parks called him, and said he couldnt come to the show, because he was attacked by Deaner in Rochester, NY. King then introduced the returning NSP Original, Lazz, who was eager to get to their match. He would have to wait, as the 3 villains left the ring and went back to the locker room.

The returning Lazz beckons Deaner, Wylde and Cherry to the ring for a fight.

Michael Elgin vs Scotty Turner
The NSP fans saw a highly technical match between the Canadian Crazyhorse Michael Elgin and Tenacious Scotty Turner. Both men exchanged various holds and throws, and seemed to be an evenly paced match. Elgin even lifted Turner into a vertical suplex and held them there for at least 30 seconds, and even did a few squats while holding him up. Elgin looked firmly in control...
...until Andrew Davis showed up.
Davis and Jay Moore rushed to the ring. Moore distracted the referee once again as Davis set up Elgin for a chairshot. However, Elgin saw through this ruse, and blocked the incoming strike.
Turner was able to scoop up the win with the distraction, but Elgin wasn't done just yet....

Michael Elgin vs Andrew Davis
Elgin challenged Davis to a fight right then. Davis accepted, and the two traded blows once again.
The match didnt last long, as it turned into a wild brawl around the ring, with the referee counting both men out after neither man re-entered the ring by the count of 10.

Nick Vickers vs Sebastian Suave
The flamboyant one vs a snooty rich guy from France. Awesome.
Suave had his usual showing of disdain of the Niagara Falls crowd, looking down his nose at them during his entrance.
Vickers was the exact opposite, high fiving his friends and fans in the crowd with customary "Voodoo Child" music.
The two traded blows, with Suave attempting repeated headlocks and neck attacks, trying to soften up Vickers for The Pedigree. He then tossed Vickers over the top rope and began to mock the crowd. What he didn't see was Vickers hold on to the top rope, and pull himself back inside in one fluid motion. Vickers then grabbed Suave and tossed him over the top rope. Suave tried to pull himself back inside the same way as Vickers, but lacked the strength. Vickers pushed Suave off the ropes with a dropkick.
Suave fought back inside the ring. He attempted a throw, but Vickers reversed and dumped Suave on his head. Vickers went for the pin, but Suave kicked out at two. Suave then rallied back and jumped from the second rope, but Vickers saw him coming and crushed his face with a jumping front kick and got the pin.

Cody Deaner, Derek Wylde and Cherry Bomb vs Tiberious King, Lazz and Courtney Rush.
Six-person tag team elimination match.
Deaner and Wylde took turns tagging each other in, none deciding who wanted to face King first. Cherry Bomb was then tagged in, and wasn't too happy about having to fight a man.
Lazz eventually tagged himself in, and the gruesome 3-some quickly exited the ring, none wanting part of the suplex-machine.
The good guys eventually put a beating on Cody Deaner, who resorted to screaming "PLEASE STOP HITTING ME!" and shook hands with King. King knew better, and beat down Deaner some more.
Wylde tagged in, only to get hit with a powerbomb/neckbreaker combo from King and Lazz.
Wylde took a suplex from King, then a fisherman's suplex from Lazz, but still was able to kick out of the pinfalls that followed.
The match then broke down as King and Lazz tried to suplex Wylde off the top rope. Cherry Bomb got involved and hit both men in the groin as Deaner entered the ring. They tried to suplex them off the ropes, as the King and Lazz still tried to throw Wylde off the top. Courtney Rush then joined the fight, and pulled everyone off the ropes in a SIX PERSON TOWER OF DOOM!
The action then went to the outside as Wylde set up King in a chair, and was going to run full speed and throw his feet into King. Luckily for the Lord of the Bling, Lazz tackled Wylde just before he got to the chair, and sent him flying into the crowd (Pulp Comics owner Paul Tappay, who sponsored the show, lost his beer in the scuffle).
King laughed at Wylde's misfortune, but didnt see Cherry Bomb coming and he ate both of her feet as he was knocked into the crowd.
Deaner then brought King into the ring and hit his Sliced Bread No.2 signature move and eliminated him from the match.
Courtney Rush then eliminated Cherry Bomb shortly thereafter while she was celebrating with Deaner.
Lazz and Deaner then went at it, with both being eliminated soon after the other.
It came down to Courtney Rush vs Derek Wylde. She gave her all, but was overpowered by the former Niagara Falls native, who slammed her over and over and over into the canvas.
Ring Announcer Topher Whiteman, who was bullied earlier in the show, had enough and attacked Wylde, but he was quickly put away with Wylde gave him a death valley driver into the turnbuckle.
As the referee was helping Whiteman to the locker room, King sneaked back into the ring and hit Wylde with his signature move, and Rush was able to pin Wylde and get the win for her team.

The Italianos vs Bodycount - NSP Tag Team Championship match - NO HOLDS BARRED STREET FIGHT.
Blood was promised, and it was delivered.
A battle of respect and honour....with the rules going out the window when the bell rang.
Both teams tried to out muscle each other in the early going and both were evenly matched......until the weapons got involved.
Kincaid and Knoxx (Bodycount) got the chairs involved first, with the Italianos reversing and attacking with the chairs first. Bodycount was able to avoid the strikes and turn the tables on the Niagara Falls heroes. Kincaid smashed a chair into Primo's head, and the bloodbath was on.
Bodycount then brought the fight into Fight Club Canada's MMA cage, smashing Tony Carbonie's head into the door and giving a spinebuster to Primo on the hard floor.
The fight then went back to the arena floor and Primo was able to get the upper hand on Kincaid, choking him with his own chain necklace.
More steel chair shots followed.
Carbonie held Kincaid still while Primo dropkicked a chair into Kincaid's face.
Knoxx disappeared under the ring for a moment, and came back with a CHEESE GRATER (OH MY GOD!).
He rubbed the sharp steel into Primo's head as the referee could only look on in disgust.
The tables then turned again (literally) as a table was set up outside the ring, and Primo tried to powerbomb Knoxx through it from the apron. Knoxx held onto the ropes and dropped a big leg onto Primo's head.
More violence ensued.
The Italianos finally were able to keep Kincaid down enough to place him on the table, as Primo jumped from the ring to the outside, crushing Kincaid through the table.
The Piss Beaters then ran down to the ring and attempted to help Bodycount win the match. Knoxx would have none of it and threw O'Reilly out of the ring. Crazzy Steve and Shawn Spears then came to the ring and Steve hit his patented Tornado DDT on Darko. The Piss Beaters and Steve/Spears then battled back to the locker room.
During this time, Tony Carbonie set up another table in the corner, and attempted repeatedly to put Knoxx through it, but the table would not break.
The third time was the charm and he put all his weight into it and the table finally broke.
Kincaid was brought into the ring and took multiple chair shots, but kicked out after each one.
He got to his knees, and screamed "FINISH IT!" as The Italianos performed a con-chair-to, smashing Kincaid's skull between the two chairs.
He didn't kick out.
The Italianos retained the NSP Tag Team Championships, and celebrated with a beer with Bodycount in a show of respect.
As The Italianos left the ring, Bodycount took centre stage one last time and waved their goodbyes. In a sudden twist of fate, Knoxx speared Kincaid into the corner, blaming him for their loss and beating him down.
NSP Wrestlers emptied from the locker room into the arena, saving Kincaid from the beating he was unable to defend himself from.

The Photographer's picks and predictions - NSP's REDEMPTION.

Cino Wrestling
Headlocks and Headlines

The photo guy's predictions for NSP's "REDEMPTION".

The Piss Beaters vs Crazzy Steve & Shawn Spears

Jake O'Reilly has battled Steve and Spears since he started wrestling, and even went to
ALl Japan Pro Wrestling with Spears. He knows both of them well, and has passed that information on to Anthony Darko.
With Darko's loss to the Italianos with then-partner Crazzy Steve, expect the Piss Beaters to
avenge their defeat with a big win over the crazzy one and the returning hometown hero.

I think the Piss Beaters will win.

Andrew Davis vs Ashley Sixx
Davis has the infamous Jay Moore as his manager, who was instrumental in his victory over Michael Elgin at the last NSP show "THE RISING", throwing in a steel chair and distracting the referee so Davis could cheat to win.

NSP fans felt that Sixx "wasnt focused" during his last match, but still was able to defeat Sebastian Suave.

I think that Andrew Davis will win this match with a combination of help from Jay Moore and Sixx being "unfocused".

Nick Vickers vs Sebastian Suave

This one will is hard to decide. Fan-favourite Vickers has all the tools to put Suave away, but Suave is also ranked one of the best wrestlers in Ontario right now.
I think this will be a close match, with one mistake/big move being the deciding factor to who wins.

Scotty Turner vs Michael Elgin

Turner will throw everything he has at Elgin, but I think Elgin will weather the storm and use his loss to Davis at the last show to fuel his determination to win.

Co-main event.
Tiberious King, Pepper Parks and Courtney Rush against
Derek Wylde, Cody Deaner and Cherry Bomb
Six-person tag team elimination

All the participants have a lot of history together, some dating back to the original inception
of NSP.
Last show, Wylde and Deaner teamed up to put a beat down on King, who was saved by Pepper Parks and Courtney Rush, with Rush keeping Cherry Bomb at bay.

This one is also close to call, but I think that Dangerboy, Deaner and Cherry will use some underhanded tactics to win.

Main Event:
Body Count vs The Italianos
No Holds Barred Street Fight.

Two teams in a battle of respect and honour, with the rules going out the window as soon as the bell rings.
If The Italianos can control the pace of the match, they will be victorious, but if Body Count has their way and gets the weapons involved, it's all over.
Body Count has not wrestled in 7 years, coming out of retirement for this one match, due to their long extent away from the ring, I think The Italianos will win.

Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling - Turner vs Elgin PREVIEW

Scotty Turner vs Michael Elgin.

Expect to see a hard-hitting match between the Tenacious one and the Canadian Crazy Horse.

Sporting a massive man-beard as of late, expect Scotty Turner to let it all come loose and hit Elgin with everything he has in his arsenal.
At "The Rising" vs Nick Vickers, Turner had an impressive showing, utilising a variety of moves and submissions, and even a diving headbutt (which unfortunately
Vickers avoided.) He ended up losing the match, but made his mark on NSP.

The Canadian Crazy Horse Michael Elgin has been recently signed to Ring of Honor (ROH) wrestling, and has been making a large impact there.
Fans can expect to see the big man perform a moonsault off the second rope, impressive for a man of Elgin's size, which wowed fans at the last NSP show.
Elgin came up short with a loss to Andrew Davis at "The Rising", when Davis smashed in his head with a steel chair.

Will Elgin be focused on Scotty Turner, or will he be looking for revenge against Davis' tactics?

With both men coming off losses in their respective matches, both will be looking to use the other as a springboard to climb back up the NSP rankings, and will be a
must see match.

NEO SPIRIT PRO WRESTLING: REDEMPTION

CinoWrestling - Headlocks and Headlines.

There will be violence.
Friends have become enemies, old rivals return, and feuds will come to a head on Saturday April 23.
Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling returns with "Redemption" at Fight Club Canada in Niagara Falls, Ont.

The Piss Beaters vs Crazzy Steve and Shawn Spears
In the opening match fans will see a No.1 contender's match between "The Piss Beaters" Jake O'Reilly and Anthony Darko, vs the team of "Mr. Destiny" Shawn Spears and Crazzy Steve.
Spears and O'Reilly recently worked for All Japan Pro Wrestling, unfortunately returning home to Canada early after the Earthquake/Tsunami in March.
At the last NSP event "The Rising", Darko physically and mentally abused then-partner Crazzy Steve during their match against the Italianos. After The Italianos defeated them, Steve had taken enough abuse from Darko and attacked him with a devastating DDT, driving Darko's head into the canvas. With the return of O'Reilly to Canada, can Darko exact revenge on the "Crazzy" one? Look for Shawn Spears to try to end the bout with his "Spear of Destiny" signature move, which is similar to former WWE Star Al Snow's "Snowplow".
Jake O’Reilly gave the following comments regarding the upcoming match.

“You want to talk about blood being spilled in the main event? O'Reilly and Darko want to talk about the tag team titles. No matter who comes out on top of the tag team match between Body Count and the Italianos, the Piss Beaters are coming for those championships! Crazzy Steve has been a personal rival of mine since day one. Shawn Spears and I have done battle from Niagara Falls all the way to Osaka Japan, and back! I know these men, and I've passed that knowledge on to Anthony Darko. The Piss Beaters can beat them in the alley and beat them in the ring. Spears and Crazzy vs The Piss Beaters is going to steal the show at NSP Redemption, with the Piss Beaters coming out on top.”

Andrew Davis vs Ashley Sixx
In the second match fans will see "Underrated" Andrew Davis vs "The Hit" Ashley Sixx.
Davis, who with the assistance of Manager Jay Moore and a steel chair, defeated Michael Elgin at the first NSP show “The Rising” and is looking to climb the NSP rankings.
Elgin has been furious over the last match and is said to be looking for payback.
Fans seemed to be concerned with Sixx’s performance at “The Rising”. saying he seemed a "little unusual" and "not focused". Sixx will have to bring his best if he wants to beat Davis and continue moving up the rankings.

Nick Vickers vs Sebastian Suave
Flamboyant does not do Nick Vickers justice at all. This over the top superstar will have his hands full as he does battle with Sebastian Suave. Suave, who many consider one of the best in Ontario, will be looking to rebound from his NSP debut loss with a big win. Look for Suave to try to weaken Vickers’ back with his devastating spine buster and make him humble with the vicious camel clutch. Vickers will have to avoid this combination of attacks or he will fall victim to Suave’s signature move, The Pedigree. Look for Suave to try and attempt a quick victory.

Co-Main Event:
Tiberious King, Pepper Parks and Courtney Rush against Derek Wylde, Cody Deaner and Cherry Bomb - six-person tag team elimination
*
One of two main events will pit the team of fan favourites Tiberious King, Pepper Parks and Courtney Rush against Derek Wylde, Cody Deaner and Cherry Bomb in a six-person elimination tag team match. Things are becoming heated already in the championship picture with Wylde’s personal verbal assault on King followed by Deaner’s low blow to the groin.
Parks is said to be surprised by the actions of Wylde and Deaner, and is looking to resolve his issue with Wylde cheating to defeat him in the first round of the championship tournament. Rush will have her hands full with Cherry Bomb in this match as well these two women downright despise each other.

Body Count vs The Italianos
NO
HOLDS
BARRED
STREET FIGHT
*
Enough said.
This will be the second main event of “Redemption”.
Back from retirement; Body Count will enter the NSP ring once again to take on The Italianos.
Kincaid has said “There will be blood!!”
Given Body Count’s past this will more than likely come true.
If the Italianos can control the pace and keep it in the ring without weapons there is no doubt they will win this match. If it goes to the outside and chairs start flying and the blood starts dripping look for Body Count to take this one home.
This match will be well worth the price of admission!

NSP “Redemption” takes place at Fight Club Canada, 4536 Portage Rd Unit 2, on Saturday April 23 at 6:30 p.m. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 in advance until the day of the show, and then are $15 at the door. $20 VIP reserved front row seating is also available, but is selling out fast!

CANT STOP THE ROCK!

By SAM CINO
Staff Writer

Do you smell what The Rock is cooking?

Let’s analyze this. No one that I can recall can actually “smell” what The Rock is cooking. In fact the phrase in itself should have never became popular, but this shows you with the power of marketing, anything can work.
The man has taken seven years away from the ring to do movies, often panned by critics (The Tooth Fairy anyone? REALLY Rock? REALLY?).
The Rock returned to the squared circle on Feb. 14 to a loud and strong ovation (and I mean LOUD). WWE thought they would throw a curve by showing a woman’s legs exit the arriving limo before cutting to commercial, and then when we came back live to air they killed the lights and played the iconic “IF YA SMELL” music and the crowd LOST ITS MIND.
He thanked his fans and said he wasn’t going anywhere again. Let’s see what happens after the Wrestlemania pay has been distributed.
He called out John Cena, the very face of WWE, saying Cena had “talked trash” about him behind the scenes and that he would “see him at Wrestlemania.”

John Cena vs The Rock – Wrestlemania 27. This could even top Hulk Hogan vs The Rock at Wrestlemania 18, almost ten years ago. The Rock is a smart businessman, letting the “new crop” of wrestlers mature before making his comeback. Who knows, maybe we’ll see The Rock vs Zack Ryder before long.

PS: Michael Cole needs to learn his role and shut his mouth
