This rivalry has been brewing and gathering speed since Neo Spirit re-opened it's doors back in February. Davis had blasted Elgin with a chair to win their first encounter at "The Rising" in February, then at "Redemption" in April Davis once again attacked Elgin with a steel chair. Elgin would get the last laugh that night as he was able to defend from the vile attack and turn the tables on Davis, powerbombing him in the centre of the ring. Later that night both men would have an impromptu match and brawl around the entire arena before retreating to the locker room.
Neo management has made this bout a chairs match to have both men settle the score.
JOHNNY WAVE VS BRENT B - Opening match in the NSP Light Heavyweight Tournament.
Two newcomers to Neo Spirit, Johnny Wave has been making an impact all around Ontario Indy Wrestling, and has even been breaking into the United States as of late. Brent B is a high-flying high-energy wrestler that has been on the Ontario scene for a few years now, expect both men to deliver an A+ performance.
CHERRY BOMB VS COURTNEY RUSH
One word describes this feud: Hate.
They have suplexed each other on the floor and off the top rope. They have both been involved in wars, both private and public. Both ladies will bring their very best to the ring for this encounter, with the winner having earned a hard-fought victory. Expect no quarter, no mercy to be given.
SEBASTIAN SUAVE VS NICK VICKERS
Round two.
Carrying over from "Redemption" in April, Nick Vickers was victorious in the first match these two contenders had after dropping Suave on his head and then nailing him with a big bicycle kick when Suave attempted a springboard off the middle rope. Suave has not won a victory yet in Neo Spirit, while Nick Vickers remains undefeated. Look for Suave to end the streak that Vickers has earned.
CODY DEANER VS TIBERIOUS KING
Back in February at "The Rising", King defeated Deaner, not without controversy as Deaner claimed to have kicked out just before the referee counted to three, but the referee maintains that both shoulders were down. Deaner then joined forces with NSP Champion Derek Wylde and Cherry Bomb and took on King, Courtney Rush, and the returning Lazz in a 6-person tag team match (Deaner attacked Pepper Parks over in New York State preventing Parks from participating, but King found a last minute replacement in Lazz).
Despite excessive cheating, Deaner, Wylde and Cherry lost that match after King returned from being eliminated and hit his signature move on Wylde, allowing Courtney to get the winning pin. Expect Deaner to try every trick in the book to get revenge on the Lord of the Bling.
SCOTTY TURNER VS CRAZZY STEVE
Turner will be coming off a big win over Michael Elgin at "Redemption" back in April (with a distraction provided by Andrew Davis) and will look to continue his winning ways when he takes on Crazzy Steve.
Steve has recently taken to YouTube (after escaping his straight jacket), delivering a speech of how "Scotty is boring" and that Scotty just "doesn't know". He stated that "this wont be any normal show, it never is", as Steve has been both the grand independent champion and the light heavyweight champion, and how he enjoys every minute of his diagnosed insanity.
"This will only end one way Scotty, in blood."
THE PISSBEATERS CHALLENGE THE ITALIANOS FOR THE NSP TAG TEAM TITLES
The Italianos were able to defeat long-time rivals Bodycount to retain the NSP Tag Team titles in a vicious streetfight, even with interference from The Pissbeaters who tried to help Bodycount win the match (Bodycount responded by throwing The Pissbeaters out of the ring and allowing Shawn Spears and Crazzy Steve to exact some revenge after losing their #1 Contender match to them earlier in the night).
The Pissbeaters have said they want the tag team titles more than anything, and will happily destroy The Italianos in order to get them around their waists. This will be another hard fought victory for either team - both for respect, and the ecstasy of gold.
DEREK WYLDE WILL DEFEND THE NSP INDEPENDENT CHAMPIONSHIP
After winning the title back in February at "The Rising", Dangerboy has yet to defend his title. All that will change at Art of War, as he has been ordered to defend the gold against an opponent. NSP management has no clear #1 contender for Wylde, so they have given Wylde the opportunity in good faith to choose his own opponent for the night.
Whoever is chosen, will be a guaranteed shocker for sure.
